SUMMARY:Hatboro's Hungry Hideaway - Williams Lane Outdoor Dining
DESCRIPTION:Due to the success of the Williams Lane Dining Area in 2020\, Hatboro Borough Council with the support of the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce\, and the Hatboro Business Community are bringing the Hatboro Hungry Hideaway back for 2021! This year\, the Hungry Hideaway will be available for dining 7 days a week from May 1\, 2021 to September 22\, 2021. \nAs a result\,  Williams Lane will be closed to traffic from York Road to the rear entrance of Bernie’s from May 1\, 2021 through September 22\, 2021. \nPlease note\, there will be no through traffic on Williams Lane between York Road and Orchard Avenue during the above-mentioned timeframes. Please make sure all parked cars are moved from Williams Lane prior to May 1\, 2021 to allow Public Works to set up the dining area. \nThis initiative was initially created to help local businesses during COVID-19 restrictions and was a success in 2020. In order to continue helping local businesses flourish and provide residents/visitors with a unique outdoor gathering space\, this dining initiative was brought back for 2021. \nAs in 2020\, the dining area will be filled with picnic tables\, greenery\, lights\, and more to allow patrons of the businesses to purchase takeout from their favorite restaurants and to enjoy outdoor meals. \nAny restaurants who normally receive deliveries via Williams Lane are encouraged to inform delivery companies of this closure. \nThe Borough of Hatboro has notified police\, fire\, and EMS personnel of this road closure to assure they are aware in the event of an emergency. \nThank you for your cooperation in this matter and we hope to see everyone enjoying their favorite foods with a side of fresh air this summer!

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, May 22\, 2021 at 10:00 AM\, we will be holding a special Gazebo dedication ceremony honoring John Kulick\, a former resident who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country in Iraq. In addition to serving his country\, John was extremely active in the local community\, serving on numerous fire companies and as a career fire fighter. \nTo show our gratitude to Mr. Kulick and everything he had done for Hatboro\, neighboring communities\, and our country\, we will be dedicating the new gazebo in Miller Meadow Park in his memory. \nMr. Kulick dedicated his life to serving others and we as a community are forever grateful. His legacy and bravery will live on through this gazebo for residents to enjoy for centuries to come. \nWe home you can join family\, friends\, local officials\, staff\, and our community for this very special dedication ceremony and celebration of John Kulick.
