SUMMARY:Kat Hall Wiffleball Classic
DESCRIPTION:As you may know\, the 6th annual Kat Hall Wiffle Ball Tournament will be held again this year on Labor Day Sunday at the Hatboro Little League Field. Team Registration is now opened and if you or your business would like to be a sponsor\, please visit our Sponsors page. \nThis event is held to bring Hatboro and surrounding communities together to have fun and to bring people together. Like our past years\, we will have bands\, games\, food and drink\, vendors and as the name suggests\, Wiffle Ball. \nEach year\, we choose a local family in need to be our beneficiary. To date\, we have raised of $ 72\,000 for local families. This year\, we have chosen the Coleman Family from Hatboro. Their daughter overcame cancer as a child and the cancer treatment induced an eating disorder that they have been battling for years. and now it unfortunately needs special treatment that requires a specific 40 day treatment. Their insurance\, currently will cover only the first 10 days\, leaving the remaining 30 days to come out of pocket to get the complete help that their daughter needs. Additionally\, this treatment requires them to travel to the University of Nebraska Medical Center\, which will also impact them financially in regards to travel and lodging. \nThe Coleman family are well known in our community and each year of our tournament\, they were an early sponsor under their business Dayspring Technology. \nWe look forward to seeing you all in September\, if not earlier for other fundraising endeavors. If you have any musical talent at all and would like to perform during the tournament please contact us.
