DESCRIPTION:Borough Council will be meeting on Monday\, February 26\, 2024 beginning at 7 PM. This meeting will be taking place at the Pennypack Facility\, 130 Spring Avenue\, Hatboro\, PA 19040. \nA copy of the meeting agenda will be available for download on the website homepage prior to the meeting. \nThe Borough of Hatboro is currently experiencing heating issues in the Council Room of the Loller Academy Building (414 S. York Road). Public Works Staff have been working to identify a cause and correct the problem; however\, as of the afternoon of February 23rd\, the heat is still not functioning in the Council Room. As an abundance of caution\, the Borough will be relocating the Monday\, February 26\, 2024 Council Meeting to the Pennypack Facility\, 130 Spring Avenue\, Hatboro\, PA 19040. The Borough will have signs posted at Loller Academy indicating the change in location and will have a staff member present at this facility to direct residents to the Pennypack Facility. Due to the emergency change in location\, Borough Council will not be calling the meeting to order immediately at 7 PM to give residents adequate time to travel to Pennypack. \nPlease note\, if the heating issue is resolved prior to Monday evening\, the meeting will be moved back to Loller Academy and we will make an announcement accordingly. As many are aware\, the new HVAC system within the Loller Academy building is somewhat complex and Borough Staff continue to learn the intricacies of the system as time progresses. We thank residents for their understanding while we work to resolve the issues taking place and restore heat to the Council Room.
