Tymisha Martisa Sweet, 35, arrested for Aggravated Assault and related offenses.
(Friday, September 21, 2018): Hatboro Police Chief James E. Gardner announces the arrest of Tymisha Martisa Sweet, 35, of the 300 block of Windsor Avenue, Hatboro, in connection with an assault occurring at her residence.
On Thursday, September 20, 2018 at approximately 1:50 P.M. Hatboro Police officers were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of Windsor Avenue, Hatboro, for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, police located the 36-year-old male resident of the home. This individual had sustained several apparent knife wounds, including a severe laceration to his face. The male reported being involved in an argument with his paramour, Tymisha Sweet. During the argument, Sweet allegedly grabbed a knife and inflicted several wounds upon the victim.
Police also located Sweet at the residence and she was placed under arrest. The victim was transported to Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health by the Second Alarmers Rescue Squad where he was treated for his injuries and ultimately released.
Sweet has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Possessing an Instrument of Crime, Simple Assault and Harassment. Sweet was arraigned by District Judge Paul N. Leo and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for October 2, 2018 at 9:00 A.M.
