Criminal Mischief
On Sunday, August 5th, 2018, sometime between 1:00pm and 5:25pm, unknown actor(s) smashed a driver’s side window on a 2014 Honda and gained entry to the vehicle. It appears some diaper bags were searched through but nothing appeared missing.
Warrant Service
On Sunday, August 5th, 2018, at 10:20am, Meghan E. Kelly, 35 years old, from Hatboro, was arrested on two active bench warrants (Bucks and Montgomery Counties) when she was located on Williams Lane. She was released to the custody of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
Theft
On Saturday, August 4th, 2018, at 3:38pm, officers investigated a theft at the McDonald’s restaurant on N. York Road. A patron mistakenly left his back-pack at the restaurant and when he returned to retrieve it he discovered a Nintendo Switch worth approximately $300 had been stolen from the bag.
Public Drunkenness
On Saturday, August 4th, 2018, at 12:20pm, Howard McConnell, 66 years old, from Hatboro, was arrested and cited for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct when officers investigated reports of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Jacksonville Road.
Assault
On Friday, August 3rd, at 7:05am, officers investigated a disturbance in the 50 block of W. Lehman Avenue. As a result of the investigation, Joseph E. Schmidt, 40 years old, from Hatboro, was arrested for Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Harassment. He was arraigned before District Justice Paul Leo of Hatboro and bail was set at $50,000/cash. He was then incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility for failure to post bail.
