Terrorist Threats, Assault
On Wednesday, June 21st, 2018, at 6:29pm, officers investigated a report of a 14 year old Hatboro boy who was making verbal threats of violence and who also assaulted a 12 year old Hatboro boy at Tanner Park.  As a result of the investigation the 14 year old Hatboro boy was petitioned to juvenile court for Terrorist Threats, Simple Assault, Strangulation, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Harassment.  He was detained and lodged at the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center pending a detention hearing.

Public Drunkenness
On Tuesday, June 19th, 2018, at 4:32pm, officers responded to the area of York Road and Moreland Avenue for a report of a fall victim with a head injury.  As a result of the investigation, William Balsamo, 58, from Hatboro, was cited for Public Drunkenness.

Fraud
On Friday, June 15th, 2018, a resident from Horsham Road reported their Amazon account was hacked and unknown person(s) ordered a $1600 laptop computer.  The victim had already reported the matter to Amazon and their credit card company and the money was credited back to their account resulting in no loss to the victim.

Warrant Service
On Tuesday, June 12th, 2018, at 8:24pm, Gary F. Adams, 29 years old, from Hatboro, was arrested on a Buck’s County bench warrant when an officer on patrol observed him walking on Jacksonville Road.  He was released to the custody of the Buck’s Sheriff’s Department.

Soliciting without Permit
On Monday, June 11th, 2018, at 5:39pm, officers investigated a report of solicitors in the area of Continental Road.  As a result, Green Star Exteriors was charged with a violation of Borough ordinances for Soliciting Without a Permit.

Underage Drinking
On Saturday, June 9th, at 2:32am, John J. Leary IV, 19 years old, from Hatboro, was cited for Underage Drinking when he was stopped by an officer in the 300 block of W. Moreland Avenue.

Warrant Service
On Tuesday, June 5th, at 11:06am, Gustavo Medina, 28 years old, from Warminster, was arrested on a Buck’s County bench warrant when he came to the Hatboro District Court for an unrelated matter.  He was released to the custody of the Buck’s County Sheriff’s Department.

D.U.I.
On Monday, June 4th, 2018, at 9:47pm, Jose Luis Martinez Jr., 42 years old, from Hatboro, was arrested when officers investigated a report of a vehicle driving on lawns on N. Penn Street.  He had a blood alcohol concentration of .194% and was summoned to court for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and related traffic offenses. 

Warrant Service
On Thursday, May 31st, 2018, at 1:53pm, Evan S. Kind, 30 years old, from Lansdale, was arrested on a Philadelphia bench warrant when officers investigated a report of suspicious persons near S. Penn Street and Byberry Avenue.
