Strangulation/Assault
On Tuesday, September 10th, 2019, at 9:31am, officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of Tanner Avenue. As a result of the investigation, Joseph F. Faino, 70 years old, from Hatboro, was arrested and charged with Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment. He was arraigned before District Justice Paul Leo of Hatboro and bail was set at $100,000/cash. He was then incarcerated at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
Underage Drinking/Resisting Arrest
On Saturday, August 31st, 2019, at 2:40am, a 16 year old Hatboro boy was arrested for Resisting Arrest, Loitering and Prowling at Night Time, Public Drunkenness, and Underage Drinking. The arrest resulted when an officer on patrol observed him stumbling as he walked in the 400 block of N. York Road. When the officer attempted to speak with him the boy fled on foot and through numerous residential yards. He was eventually located trying to scale a fence in a yard on James Road. He was released to the custody of a parent pending a juvenile petition.
