It’s the “Hunt for Meds October”! Sponsored by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and the Police Chiefs of Montgomery County, the Hatboro Police Department will participate as a drop off site for the countywide prescription drug take back event scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10AM until 2PM.
Interested persons may stop by the Hatboro Police Administration Building, 120 E. Montgomery Avenue, Hatboro, to safely dispose of any unwanted, unused or expired medications. If you can’t make it, the lobby of the Hatboro Police Administration Building is equipped with a drop box to accept unwanted, unused or expired medications on a 24/7 basis.
Remember October 26, 2019 promises to be an exiting and fun filled day. The YMCA’s annual “Skeleton Skurry” 5K will begin at Pennypack Elementary at 9:30 AM. Following at 12 noon the Borough of Hatboro will host a ground breaking ceremony at Miller Meadow for the exciting new park improvements that will be coming thanks to a grant from Montgomery County. Last, but not least, the annual “Halloween Stroll”, sponsored by the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce, will be held along the York Road business district at 2PM. We hope to see you at the events!
