Borough Council is holding a special Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 7:00 PM for the purpose of appointing a new councilperson for the Borough of Hatboro. This meeting will take place at the Borough of Hatboro Municipal Building, 414 S. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.

The public is invited to attend. A copy of the meeting agenda will be available on http://www.myhatboro.org prior to the meeting.

At the March 23rd, 2026, Council meeting, Borough Council accepted Councilman George Bollendorf’s resignation effective March 23rd, 2026. As such, Borough Council for the Borough of Hatboro is accepting letters of interest for filling the vacancy on Borough Council.

Eligible applicants must be a resident of the Borough for at least one (1) year continuously prior to the appointment and must be a registered voter in the Borough.

Any interested and qualified person shall submit a letter of interest and/or resume via email to the attention of Borough Manager/Secretary Diane C. Hegele at dhegele@myhatboro.org or by mail to 414 South York Road, Hatboro PA 19040, to the attention of Diane C. Hegele, Borough Manager/Secretary.

Applications will be accepted until end of business day, Tuesday, March 31st, 2026. Consideration of appointment is tentatively scheduled at a special meeting of Borough Council on Wednesday, April 8th at 7 PM.
