Borough of Hatboro Announces Upcoming Pedestrian Improvement Projects

For Immediate Release – October 25, 2023 – Borough of Hatboro Announces Upcoming Pedestrian Improvement Projects: The Borough of Hatboro is extremely excited to announce three upcoming Pedestrian Improvement Projects that will increase pedestrian safety and walkability throughout the Borough. These projects will include crosswalk improvements and an overhead flasher at York and Williams, crosswalk improvements and an overhead flasher at York and Summit, and the installation of an overhead flasher at Jacksonville and Meadowbrook.

These projects are being performed with assistance from $274,056 in grant funding from the DCED Multimodal Transportation Fund, $83,550 in funding from the ARLE Grant Program, and $142,748.00 in grant funding from the Montgomery County Transportation Program. The Borough is extremely thankful for the Commonwealth Agencies and Montgomery County for selecting the Borough for this funding and helping to make a safer environment for pedestrians and motorists alike!
