
Congratulations to the retiring Chief of the Montgomery County Detectives, Sam Gallen. After 41 years of service to the citizens of Montgomery County, Chief Gallen retired on Friday. Chief Gallen served the Borough of Hatboro for 23 of those years, retiring as Chief of the Hatboro Police Department in 2002.
Following his retirement from Hatboro, Chief Gallen joined the Montgomery County Detective Bureau, a component of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. Chief Gallen rose to the rank of Chief County Detective in 2014 after serving as a Detective in the Homicide Unit and then Deputy Chief County Detective.
