Apply Now to Participate In The 23rd Session of the Citizens Police Academy
The Hatboro Police Department and the Horsham Police Department invite residents of Hatboro, Horsham, and surrounding communities to participate in the 23rd Citizens Police Academy. This 10-week course invites residents to share and learn the ins and outs of police work as well as foster a better police-community partnership.
Through your participation in the Citizens Police Academy, you are promoting community involvement which in itself is the most powerful force any law enforcement agency has in the fight against crime. This course is also an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with the members of the Hatboro and Horsham Police Departments about issues that concern you.
Classes in this 10-week course include Day to Day Police Work, Accident Investigation, Crimes Code, Use of Force, “Crime Scene” Investigation, Demos by K-9 Units, SWAT Demonstration, “Holding Court” with Our Local Judge, and more!
The Citizens Police Academy will take place every Tuesday evening June 11, 2019 to August 20, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Horsham Library, 435 Babylon Road, Horsham, PA 19044.
Applications for the 23rd session of the Citizens Police Academy are available at the Hatboro Police Station, Horsham Police Station, and available for download here.
