Hatboro’s local Cub Scout Troop is holding a day camp at the Pennypack Community Center from July 21, 2025 to July 25, 2025. This outdoor nature camp was previously held outside of Hatboro in neighboring municipalities and gives Scouts the opportunity to learn essential skills through various STEM, crafts, and sports activities.

A portion of this camp will include archery and BB gun ranges on the Pennypack Property. These ranges are staffed by NRA certified safety officers and all proper backdrops/safety precautions are being followed. While this activity is taking place, visitors of Pennypack may not be able to access certain areas of the field in accordance with the safety standards being utilized.
