The United States Environmental Protection Agency is performing passive soil gas sampling within Right-of-Ways in the Borough of Hatboro beginning the week of July 25, 2022. Testing will last until approximately August 8, 2022 and will take place in the vicinity of Bonair Avenue.

During this process, residents can expect to see EPA personnel utilizing a hand-held drill to install shallow boreholes. Small sample collection devices will be placed in the boreholes and the hole will be sealed. After about 2 weeks’ time, the samplers will be removed from the ground and sent to a lab for analysis. All boreholes will be repaired during the sample retrieval.
