On January 1, 2020, the Hatboro Police Department’s 10-Digit legacy phone number that rings and is answered by Montgomery County’s 9-1-1 Center (215-675-4400) will be eliminated. This change is due to Verizon phone upgrades.

Anyone needing police, fire, or EMS should always call 9-1-1. Even if you are unsure that a situation warrants emergency response, the Hatboro Police Department encourages anyone and everyone to call 9-1-1 as safety is of the utmost importance.

Please note, the Hatboro Police Department’s business phone number which rings at the Police Station (215-675-2832) is unaffected by this change and is still active. This number should be used for business calls only and should not be called for incidents requiring police response. Anyone who calls the business line for police response will automatically be forwarded to 9-1-1.
