John N. Kulick Gazebo Dedication Ceremony

On Saturday, May 22, 2021 the Borough of Hatboro held a special gazebo dedication ceremony in honor of fallen hero John N. Kulick.

Born November 17, 1969, John N. Kulick dedicated his life to serving our local community through the fire service. Over his lifetime, John was extremely active with local fire companies, serving on:

· Enterprise Fire Company

· Warminster Fire Company

· Centre Square Fire Company

· Horsham Fire Company

· Willow Grove Fire Company

In addition to serving our local community, John enlisted in the PA Army National Guard Alpha Company of the 1st Battalion-111 Infantry Regiment (Mechanized) where he achieved the specialist rank. John was deployed to Iraq in November 2004 and was unfortunately killed in action in August 2005 in Beiji, Iraq.

John is survived by his parents Terri and James, and his daughter, Amanda Kulick, who followed in his footsteps becoming a firefighter. Amanda is also graduating the Police Academy in Florida with hopes to continue serving her community as a police officer.

John Kulick dedicated his life to serving others and we as a community are forever grateful. His legacy and bravery will live on through this gazebo for residents to enjoy for centuries to come.
