July 25, 2026 Moonlight Memories Car Show Information

On Saturday July 25, 2026, the Hatboro Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Moonlight Memories Car Show on York Road. In preparation for the car show, York Road will be closed from County Line Road to Horsham Road beginning at 11:30 AM. York Road is anticipated to reopen at approximately 11 PM.

All vehicles must be removed from York Road prior to 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Any vehicles remaining on York Road after 11:30 AM are subject to towing at the owners’ expense.

Residents who reside on York Road and Business Owners with storefronts on York Road should make sure their vehicles are relocated prior to 11:30 AM on July 25th. Businesses and Apartments with parking lots or entrances on York Road may not be able to travel on York Road from their residence / business via vehicle once the closure begins. If you need to leave during the closure for an emergency, please make plans to relocate your vehicle prior to 11:30 AM on the 25th. Likewise, after York Road closes at 11:30 AM, you may not be able gain access to your residence/business via car. Please make plans in advance if you anticipate needing to come or go from your residence or business by vehicle during this time.

The Hatboro Police Department and Emergency Management Department are also enacting temporary parking restrictions on multiple streets and areas throughout the Borough. Below is information regarding road closures and parking restrictions prior to and during the event. Please drive with caution!!

YORK ROAD

  • York Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from Horsham Road to County Line Road beginning at 1130 am until approximately 11 PM.
  • Cross Traffic on York Road will permitted at Montgomery Avenue and Lehman Avenue.

TRAFFIC DETOURS

  • Eastbound Traffic on W Moreland Avenue will be detoured north on Chester Avenue to Montgomery Avenue or south on Chester Avenue to Lehman (See attached Graphic)
  • Eastbound Traffic on West Monument Avenue will be detoured South on Chester Avenue. Detoured traffic can turn left onto Montgomery Avenue to cross York Road or continue south to Lehman Avenue to cross York Road.

TEMPORARY NO PARKING

  • Temporary no parking will be in place on:
    • West Monument Avenue (Both Sides)
    • N Chester Avenue
    • S Chester Avenue
    • West Lehman Avenue between S Chester and York (both sides)
    • West Lehman Avenue from York to Drexel (Both Sides)
    • Drexel Road from W. Lehman to Rorer (Both Sides)
    • Rorer Avenue from Drexel to Fulmore (Both Sides)
  • Temporary No parking will be in place on Montgomery Avenue between N Chester Avenue and York Road.
  • The Hatboro Public Works Department and the Hatboro Police Department are also enacting a temporary No Parking restriction in the Moreland & Orchard Shopper’s Lot. This closure will allow first responders and emergency personnel to utilize the lot for the event. As a result, the Moreland & Orchard Shopper’s lot located on W. Moreland Avenue will be closed beginning at 9 PM on Friday, July 24th and will remain closed until 11 PM on Saturday, July 25th. All vehicles must be removed from the Moreland & Orchard parking lot before 9 PM on Friday, July 24th. This includes persons who have a Borough issued parking permit for a reserved spot in the Moreland and Orchard lot.
  • Any vehicles illegally parked along the detour route and no parking areas will be towed.

PARKING INFORMATION: **Public parking is available at the following municipal parking lots**

  • East Moreland Avenue Lot: This parking lot is accessible off East Moreland Avenue.
  • Bank Street Lot: This parking lot is accessible off West Lehman Avenue.
  • Parking is also available on neighboring streets (where permitted) but may be limited on the day of the event.
