Approval of Minutes- Motion to approve the February 28th minutes was approved.

Bird Town has chaged the activites, after partnering more fully with Bird City Network. There are now new certification levels and mandatory requirments. Some ideas metioned are registering more properties in the Bird Habitat Recognition Program, May 26th is World Migratory Day, and we can have a local bird count, and on April 14th, we will combine with a scout troop to remove vines from trees, near Pennpack at 6 pm.

We received a letter from a Cadette, in Girl Scouts, Amber Johnson, who would like to install 5 redwood birdhouses at Crooked Billet school ,this summer, to earn her Silver Award. We would like invite Amber, to attend one of our birdmeetings, to explain her project to us, as there may be several other areas that would benefit also from these houses, and hope that we could try to get some blue bird houes in the mix.

Birdtown Report Goals and Activities:

Pennypack Community Garden- EAC is dealing with this due to Pennypack being closed till their water issue is repaired, later this year. There is some hope that Aqua, will fix a hydrant to allow water to be available, to use for the garden.

Native Plant Ordinance- EAC is taking this on.

Earth Day- 4/11/26 , Miller Meadow – Birdtown will have a table there from 10 to 2 with brochures, and to answer any questions. We will be selling rubber ducks, along with a possible free donation of frogs to use at Hatboro Community Day, where we will have a duck race in the pool, as a fund raiser for Bird Town. A small grant we may be receiving will be used toward printing of Bird Town materials.

Raffle Basket for Bingo- We received another bird house for the raffle basket , made by Ray Byrnes, making his total of 9 he has made and donated, however due to the issues at Pennypack, all activities there have been cancelled and we will save it for a future fundraiser.

Commuunity Day- May 17th, Hatboro Pool, we will be running our duck race, and again having a table of Bird Town information, for our comminity. There was some talk could, we possbily do a special event bird walk, around the park, before the activities start.

Bird Walk- Kate is taking the lead on this for the fall
