Did you know that March is International Fraud Prevention Month? It’s also the perfect time for you to register for FraudSleuth, the free property alert service.
While more than 3,100 homeowners have already taken advantage of this program, we would like all homeowners in Montgomery County to be registered for this free service.
The rate of this type of crime is low in Montgomery County, and FraudSleuth is a piece of mind tool for homeowners. While it does not prevent fraud, the service is an early warning system: if fraudulent activity does happen, the homeowner can take immediate action.
Homeowners can sign up for FraudSleuth with their unique Parcel ID right from the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds website (https://bit.ly/RODFRAUD), or join one of our upcoming mobile sign up events listed below.
