BLUE- Kelly- has informed us that the many of the trees and plantings at the ball fields, Pennypack and Boro Hall will need to have new caging or tubing put on them for protection. This will need to be coordinated with the Little Leqgue and Boro.
We also had a successful vine pulling in coordination with a Cub scout Troop on April 14th with several members and their families and others helping out.
RUBBER DUCKY REGATTA-
Was held on May 16th in coordination with Community Day at Hatboro Pool. Venmo was a great help for payments and next year we hope to add more ducks. One of our winners donated his prize to our organization and after all bills were paid, we made $295.00 All monies were placed with the Pennypack Events Committee, and a Report will be issued to us to keep track of monies. Thank you cards will be sent to the three winners , and we look forward to doing this again next year.
PLANNING IDEAS AND PARTIPCATION
We will plan on having a table on June 12th, at the Pet Adoption event at Miller Meadow.
Bird Town Pennsylvania is now part of the Bird City Network. With this new network, similiar to previous we need to build up requirements to keep our Bird Town designation. We need more residents to have their properties, receive Bird Habitat Certification. In the fall, we hope to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day, and the local bird count and a walk. A letter will be drafted to the Hatboro EAC in support for the Reparian Right Corrider Conservation bill giving 25 feet protection area.
