Due to the large snow storm forecasted for our area on Sunday, January 25th and Monday, January 26th, the Borough is cancelling trash and recycling collection for residents with a regular Monday pickup. The decision to cancel trash collection was made to provide Public Works employees with additional time to clear snow and ice from roadways and Borough properties following the storm. It will also prevent any trash cans from being damaged if placed curbside when roads are being plowed.

Because residents with a Monday recycling date will not have their regular collection, the Borough is holding a special recycling only collection on Wednesday, January 28th. This special pickup is for residents with a regular Monday recycling collection only and only recycling will be collected (no trash). Residents with a regular Monday trash day can place their trash to the curb on Thursday, January 29th for collection.
