PECO will be upgrading natural gas equipment on West Moreland Avenue (Between Flamingo and Linden Avenue) and on Broad Street (between Moreland Avenue and Montgomery Avenue) beginning April 17, 2023. PECO did not notify the Borough that this work is scheduled to take place on April 17th until 8:30 PM on April 11, 2023.

This work will be ongoing and is expected to be completed by July. The project will be completed by Riggs Distler, a qualified PECO contractor. Residents with concerns should contact Levi Brown of Riggs Distler directly at 609-941-7182.

Most of this work will be performed outdoors on residential streets, sidewalks, or properties; however, to safely connect properties to the new natural gas main, PECO or the PECO Contractor (Riggs Distler) will need to turn off natural gas service and enter your property to relight your appliances after the connection. PECO will coordinate this with customers when the time arises.

Prior to work beginning, PECO is asking customers to mark any customer owned facilities present on the property (i.e. water services, sewers, septic tanks, underground cable, drainage pipes, etc.)
