PECO informed the Borough of Hatboro this afternoon that they are performing inspections of various electrical transmission lines in Hatboro. During this time, residents may see a low-flying helicopter in the area which allows PECO crews to inspect lines safely and efficiently. PECO has not provided the Borough with a specific timeline for these inspections; however, if residents see this helicopter in the area, there is no cause for concern. These inspections have been taking place throughout neighboring municipalities over the last few weeks and are part of PECO’s routine maintenance and inspection programs.
