Position:  Seasonal Laborer

Hours of Work: Between 20 and 32 and hours per week

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Borough of Hatboro Public Works Department is now accepting applications for a Seasonal Laborer position. A Seasonal Laborer at Public Works generally collects trash or recyclables on a daily basis. A Seasonal Laborer may also be required to cut grass, complete general landscaping tasks, minor building maintenance, and park facilities maintenance. Seasonal laborers preform manual labor including repetitive lifting, pulling and carrying in all weather conditions.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
A Seasonal Laborer must be at least 18 years old. All applicants will be subject to a criminal background check.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND GIVEN
A Seasonal Laborer generally works as a part of a crew of Laborers to complete tasks. A Seasonal Laborer is under the supervision of a senior employee or the Public Works Foreman.

2. Grass Cutting
3. Vehicle Washing
4. Public Works Building Cleaning
5. Any other Assignment Given By the Superintendent or Foreman
