Septa Overnight Work Information

PLEASE NOTE: The SEPTA Work Originally Scheduled For This Weekend Below Has Been Cancelled Due To High Winds. The Work Has Not Yet Been Rescheduled, But SEPTA Will Provide Advance Notice For When Work Is Rescheduled

In accordance with the new SEPTA Hatboro Substation Construction, SEPTA will be performing overnight work on the tracks near the Hatboro train station the following nights:

  • 10 PM Friday, April 30th through 6 AM Saturday, May 1st
  • 10 PM Saturday, May 1st through 6 AM, Saturday, May 2nd

This work is being performed as a part of the ongoing project relocating and reconstructing the Hatboro Substation which services the Warminster Regional Rail Line. By performing the work overnight, SEPTA forces will be able to support the contractor performing the work. This $5.1 million project will replace the major power components of an 80+ year old substation and ensure power reliability for trains serving the entire line. For project information, please go to: http://www4.septa.org/rebuilding/substation/hatboro.html

What to expect: The work will be done during overnight hours and will be noisy. Crews will be working mostly within the footprint of the substation, so nearby neighbors can expect noise, lighting, and activities typical with a construction project.

We appreciate your patience during this improvement project. Thank you.
