Please be advised that the West Monument Avenue Bridge will be closed for repairs from Wednesday, July 15, 2026 to Monday, July 20, 2026. During this closure, there will be no through-traffic on West Monument Avenue between York Road and Blair Mill Road.

Residents on West Monument Avenue and the surrounding streets will have access to their properties throughout the closure; however, residents should be mindful of the closure when accessing their properties. Residents who live on the Memorial Park side of the bridge will need to access their properties from the Blair Mill Road side of West Monument Avenue. Alternatively, residents who live on the Broad Street side of West Monument Avenue will need to access their properties from the York Road side of West Monument Avenue.

The Borough of Hatboro has notified emergency services of this closure. They are prepared to take alternative routes to access properties if needed while the closure is in effect.

Motorists who regularly travel on West Monument Avenue should seek an alternative route while the closure is in effect.

Please note, this closure only applies to the wooden bridge located on West Monument Avenue between Broad Street and the entrance to Memorial Park. The large concrete bridge located in Upper Moreland’s portion of Monument Avenue is not impacted by this closure and will remain open to traffic.
