The Borough of Hatboro has been awarded $850,000 for a Memorial Park Improvement Project through the DVRPC 2023 TA Set-Aside Program. This project will run in tandem with the Memorial Park ADA Playground Project and will include the installation of walking trails, a rain garden, and ADA work to the existing footbridge connecting both sides of the park. Once completed, Memorial park will be Hatboro’s destination for inclusive play and recreation of all types!

The TA Set-Aside Program funds community based “nontraditional” projects designed to strengthen the cultural, aesthetic, and environmental aspects of the nation’s intermodal transportation system. The TA Set-Aside Program continues to provide funds to build pedestrian and bicycle facilities, improve access to public transportation, create safe routes to school, preserve historic transportation structures, provide environmental mitigation, and create trail projects that serve a transportation purpose while promoting safety and mobility.
