PECO has been working on electrical upgrades in areas of Hatboro, Upper Moreland, and Horsham since June 2025. As a part of these upgrades, new equipment including poles, tree-resistant aerial wires, and other associated devices are being installed along Moreboro Road, North Linden Avenue, West Monument Avenue, Blair Mill Road, Hatboro Avenue, and Newington Drive within these municipalities. This work originally began in June 2025 will now be taking place through November 2025. During work, PECO and their contractors may need to temporarily interrupt electrical service in these impacted areas; however, they will be doing their best to minimize impact to residents and motorists in the area. PECO will work with residents head of outages to inform them of these planned interruptions.
