Free-A-Tree Volunteer Program on Saturday, February 3rd from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
Join the Free-A-Tree Corps’ effort to rescue our vine-infested trees. You will work with our staff to learn about ecological restoration and assist with an active project. Bring leather work gloves and pruning shears (or borrow ours) and dress for outdoor work. We recommend sturdy footwear, long pants/shirts, and a water bottle. Lunch is provided for all volunteers who register. Free, but pre-registration is required.

Service Day on Monday February 19th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Lend a hand in the Pennypack Preserve for a few hours of service in honor of Presidents Day. You will work with our staff to learn about ecological restoration and assist with an active project. Dress in layers and wear sturdy boots. Groups and individuals are welcome. Groups should contact kroth@pennypacktrust.org. Registration is required by February 16th.

Join our annual effort to clean up the four miles of the Pennypack Creek that flows through the Pennypack Trust. Bring work gloves and waterproof footwear. In this hands-on workshop, which includes outdoor activities, participants will be introduced to the curriculum, guided in its use, and shown the resources available through Growing Up WILD, Project WILD, Bureau of State Parks, and the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust to help you implement GUW with your students.
