Residents visiting Pennypack Park today, January 11, 2024 may notice a white substance lining the edge of the creek. The Upper Moreland Hatboro Joint Sewer Authority applied lime in areas of the Pennypack Property due to an incident from their system being overburdened by Tuesday’s storm. This is not a cause for concern and spreading lime in these cases is standard procedure for the Sewer Authority. UMHJSA notified the DEP and appropriate parties of this incident and again, there is no cause for concern to residents in the area as a result of this incident.
