Highway Materials in conjunction with PennDOT contacted the Borough of Hatboro with an update on the State Route 332 Paving Project (Jacksonville Road from County Line Rd. to E. Montgomery Ave. and E. Montgomery Avenue from Jacksonville Rd. to York Road). Highway Materials will begin this milling/paving project the night of Monday, September 30, 2019.
Crews will begin milling operations at E. Montgomery Avenue @ N. York Road. PennDOT was previously granted a noise ordinance waiver by Borough Council and will be performing this work overnight between the hours of 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM each night. In order to allow the milling and paving process to take place, no parking zones will be posted along E. Montgomery Avenue between the hours of 5:30 PM and 6:30 AM beginning Monday, September 30th. Residents who regularly park on E. Montgomery Avenue should relocate vehicles during this time to an area in which parking is permitted. Affected residents will have access to driveways during the hours of work; however, if milling is taking place in front of their driveway entrance, they may have to wait for crews to move equipment to enter/exit.
Highway Materials has assured the Borough that any loud jackhammering that may need to occur will be performed during the daytime hours as to prevent disturbing residents.
Once the milling of the road is completed, the road will remain milled for approximately 1 week to allow utility companies to make any adjustments needed prior to paving.
Please note, this work is weather dependent. Should inclement weather occur, work will be delayed.
If any other updates become available, we will update residents and motorists accordingly. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the project, please contact Borough Hall at 215-443-9100.
