The Borough of Hatboro is temporarily stopping electronics recycling until further notice. We are currently working with the DEP to obtain updated certifications to continue collecting these items and will immediately inform residents when we are able to resume electronics collection.

As a result, the Borough will no longer be selling bulk trash permits for any electronic items (items including a plug or wires).

In the meantime, residents can contact local stores including Best Buy, Staples, etc. that offer electronics recycling services.

Montgomery County also offers an A-Z of Recycling guide to help residents with disposing of certain items. Residents can select the item they wish to dispose of and the guide will have a list of establishments that accept the item within Montgomery County.
